  • JOINT ACTIVITIES
  • COORDINATION OF CONFERENCES, EVENTS AND TECHNICAL MEETINGS
  • PUBLICATIONS EXCHANGE AND STANDARD INFORMATION
  • EXCHANGE OF EXPERTISE
  • COOPERATION IN RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS AND TRAINING

Among the projects currently being discussed by both associations are the participation of HKIAC in an upcoming RAA publication, as well as a business trip to Hong Kong in autumn of 2016.

Vladimir Khvalei, Chairman of Board, RAA comments - “We see a great potential in cooperation with HKIAC. In a view of recent developments more and more Russian companies are expanding to Asia, we also see a growing presence of Chinese companies in Russia. Thus, Hong Kong as a place of arbitration and HKIAC, as an administering institution will without doubt significantly contribute to the facilitation of the Russian-Asian business.”

“The MOU marks an important milestone of strengthening ties between Hong Kong and Russia. I am confident that this collaboration would inspire more joint innovative activities and growth between the two institutions” -  says Teresa Cheng, Chairperson, HKIAC

“Over the past decades, arbitration faced noticeable changes in terms of complexity of disputes tried outside state court systems and the global reach of the arbitration services. On the other hand, it became a conservative club of a few. Being an advocate of diversity, I truly praise the rise of new arbitration centres, such as HKIAC, which increase competition and consequently the accessibility and quality of services offered to the arbitration users.”Roman Zykov, General Secretary, RAA
